Using jealousy as a weapon is a form of emotional blackmail when you really break it down and any future relationship that has a basis in jealousy stands as much chance of long-term success as any relationship that was built on a foundation of cheating and infidelity.
Basically you cannot build something positive out of something negative and jealousy is one of the most negative things in the entire world – for some people it even goes as far as being a sin.
What you really want to achieve here is that your ex girlfriend will start paying attention to the fact that you still exist and want to spend time with you again and believe me making her jealous isn’t going to do you any good. Why? Well because the method that most guys choose to do this is dating another girl and while this can and probably will make your ex jealous to some extent it will also probably just make her think you’re a “man-ho” and what little respect she had for you is probably now gone.
You see the advice you get off guy friends is to go and sleep with other girls straight away and let your ex know about it on Facebook or Twitter. There are two problems here and the first is that this type of advice is usually given by single guys who can’t form a long-term relationship with a woman – never trust a bald barber as they say. Secondly you’re just giving your ex girlfriend more reasons to not want to have anything to do with you ever again.
It’s also worth remembering that having a jealous ex girlfriend that’s mad at you is about the worst enemy you can have in the world. What kind of personal information does she know about you that she could make public? She probably knows more about you than you could ever guess so don’t go waving a red rag in front of that bull ok buddy?
If you really want to get your ex girlfriend back then the quickest way to achieve that is by not acting like a 16-year old boy. Instead of trying to make her jealous why not call her up for a chat, invite her out to lunch, apologize for anything you’ve done wrong and basically just show her that you’re a stand-up guy and that you’re capable of changing because you love her that much.
That will go a lot, lot, lot further than using some childish mind games or flirting with other girls in front of her hoping to make her fall madly in love with you again.
Your ex girlfriend wants a man and not a boy so why not be the man she expects you to be?
