Past Regression A Life Enhancing Process!

More and more people these days are starting to believe in the possibility of reincarnation. With different techniques that help you to recall your past lives available, it can get tricky trying to choose the method that best suits you.

A good tool that can prove very beneficial when referred back to is a journal. In your journal you will need to record all your thoughts and feelings. Even those that seem inconsequential to you at the time. You also need to write down any emotions that you may feel, as it is generally believed that emotions are a strong link connecting us to our past life or lives. Do not forget that even something as unimportant as an irrational fear of cracks in a sidewalk can prove very useful and need to be made a note of in your journal.

Begin your journal with a thorough and comprehensive description of yourself, from your likes and dislikes to your preference for one culture over all others, your desire for a particular climate, and even if you have a particular affinity to a certain period in history. Include information on your fears, your favorite food, animals that you feel drawn to, etc. It is important to be thorough as there is no such thing as useless information in this regard. Discuss your particular talents if you possess any and describe what they are. In short, tell your journal everything about yourself, about your personality and whether you experience things such as deja vu. Write it all down.

Your dreams also give clues in your past life. But keep in mind your dreams contain things from your present life as well but write it down anyway.

There exist another method called past life regression.

This involves a visit to a professional past life regression therapist. They are trained to guide you through the regression and then with your help interpret what information that came through. This technique involves the professional doing hypnosis. Sometimes this can be done by self-hypnosis.

Many people choose meditation as their preferred method.

This is a private technique so therefore many people have a hard time in trusting what they receive. With meditation, it is important to trust in your instincts and feelings.

While meditation may feel like daydreaming to you, something of importance may come through as images start to flow through. Your journal maybe of help here too.

Within many religions, the idea of reincarnation is accepted, albeit in some more so than in others. Some believe in it so much that they also believe that whatever choices you make, or whatever you do in one life will affect your next life, too. So whether you have done positive or negative things, you will experience the consequences if not in your current life then in the next. This is not necessarily a wrong belief, because once you have discovered what happened to you in a past life, it can be beneficial to you in your present one.

As with many things it is important that you keep an open mind about what you discover. You need to be able to accept the information you receive about your past life, because that will enable you to not only learn from past mistakes, but also afford you the opportunity to correct them in your current life, making it better than the previous one.

Sometimes it happens that the subconscious might be blocked but it can be unblocked successfully to receive the information that comes through past life regression. Despite the fact that some people experience a blocked subconscious, the experts still maintain that past life regression can be very beneficial to the present life. But besides the unblocking of the subconscious, there are other benefits as well.

Practically speaking, past life regression enables you to identify those things you did in a past life that resulted in negative consequences and not repeat those same mistakes. It is important for the well-being of your present life that you address the issues from the previous ones.

Being able to see what you were or like in the past may help you see a hidden talent that was just waiting to be brought to the front and so help you live a richer, fuller life now. Lucid Dreams An Awesome Experience!

Did you know that there exist some kinds of dreams which you can actually control while being aware that you are dreaming? These dreams are known as lucid dreams. In such dreams you are dreaming but you can direct your dreams like a movie. You can decide the actors, the setting and even the story! You can even decide the dialogues!

Lucid dreams can be anything. From a sci-fi fantasy to an adventure or a fairy tale romance, you can dream about anything. Unlike real life, lucid dreams have unlimited possibilities. All you need is imagination.

While normal dreams are uncontrollable and completely dependent on the realms of the subconscious, lucid dreams are completely controllable. There are times when lucid dreams become so vivid and so genuine that you may need to even make sure that you are dreaming!

One simple test is to try reading something. In a dream the words you see will keep changing, making it impossible to read properly. This is a sure sign that you really are having a lucid dream.

There are times that you like someone and want to be with someone. However, it might not be possible in reality but it is definitely possible in a lucid dream. You can even date and marry a Hollywood star in a lucid dream.

In a lucid dream, you can change the outcome if you dont like how the dream is heading. If you imagine you are with your loved one that has passed, you might dream that they are still alive because you were able to get to them to warn them of their upcoming demise, for example. Controlling your dream for the desired outcome is part of lucid dreaming.

Because your body has a biological need to sleep, your mind can remain in a semi-conscious state while your body is resting, which is what makes lucid dreams physically possible.

Lucid dreaming needs some techniques which can be learnt by some practice and patience.

You can begin by doing some dream recall everyday. Each day try to recall the dreams that you had in the night. You need to remember them to the last possible detail. Its a great idea to keep some paper and pen handy to record your dreams. In the beginning you may not recall all the details. Thats not a problem. However, with constant practice, you will find dreams repeating themselves. This will enable you to completely record your dream. Make this a habit and soon you will have all your dreams recorded and can refer to them when you want.

If you are a writer this information is invaluable. You may have your next novel lined up. In a lucid dream you create the scenes and actions. The dream ends the way you want it to. Lucid dreaming is a time to pacify our inner ambitions and desires and plan their execution in reality.

You need to make it habit to recall each and every detail about your dream. Once you do that, try sleeping again and if possible try to start the dream where you left and continue your dream from there. The dreams will repeat themselves so you can delve into more details every time that happens.

If you wake before your normal time, lets say you have a couple of hours to go; this is the easiest time for lucid dreaming. It may seem like you have been awake and thinking all the time, but you have actually been lucid dreaming.

Soon you will be surprised at how easy it really is to do. One short cut you can try is to use self-hypnosis; it can help prepare your mind to recall vividly your lucid dreams.
